The figures in my pieces are often based on characters I have drawn from real life yet, I maintain a certain ambiguity about their identity by representing them as silhouettes. As someone who is interested and influenced by fashion, two of my illustration heroes are 1920’s fashion illustrator Erte and Aubrey Beardsley.
