Design - The senseless presentation
Nearly each class of American school has a corner projector (in modern language office overhead projector) to display pictures on the wall.
Instead of the chalk, the teacher takes colored markers, instead of the board - a transparent sheet.
Part of teaching materials are already printed on films, part compiled on the fly. The popularity of overhead projectors are growing because they are projected on the wall beautiful recruited printed text font, as well as pictures that could not be portrayed with a chalk. Overhead - projectors emerged after Blackboards, but before computers, taking an important place in the American educational system.

Design - Meeting the challenges. Resolving issues.
Design is the solution of tasks, rather than just creativity. A designer, who believes that design - when it needs to be done beautifully, simply does not understand his task completely. Customers may take the opposite. Because sometimes a task is to make it nicely.
There is an old joke that goes ... The organization of the future will be so technologically advanced that it will be run by just one person and a dog. The person will be there to feed the dog, and the dog will make sure the person does not touch anything.
In reality it is opposite....
