Daily Did You Know! - Groups
Hello everyone!
Lets jump right into it:
The way we built our privacy settings we've enabled you to share your media with different permissions on each piece of content.
Let me break that down (cause I actually had to read that sentence twice :).... you can create a group of friends – lets call that group “Family” – and
upload a photo/movie/doc/whatever that only
they
will see
!
How do you do this?
First step is to create a group. Go to your Friends section (on the left) and select specific users by clicking the ‘Check Mark’ button and then hitting the “Group” key.
This will bring up a window where you can select a previously created Group to put those checked friends into, or you can create a new group by typing a title into the box.
So, now that you have created a few groups you can begin to
specify who can view the content you are sharing
.
How do you do that?
Well, when you are on the
Upload screen
there is a section that says “Permissions.” You select “Groups” and a drop down menu will appear showing the groups you’ve
previously created
in your Friends section.
Then you
select which Group you want and only they will be able to see it
!
Have fun and let me know if you have any questions,
