Visual Kei: a splendid appearance and reality
Visual Kei, a Japanese music and fashion style, started in Japan during the 1980's from legendary jrock bands, such as X-Japan and Luna Sea. The Genre has remained popular throughout the 90's till now but gone through number of changes. A look that recently has become popular within this trend is called Gothic Lolita and Harajuku .
Members of Visual Kei bands often wear extravagant costumes, flamboyant makeup and nail art, style their hair with unmatched but carefully done dyes.
