Jay Blaze, an innovative entrepreneur whose talents continue to penetrate and dominate the Entertainment industry is a triple threat as a-- Rap Artist, Model and Actor.
Jay Blaze recognized his raw potential when he was given the opportunity to perform before a massive live audience with Wyclef Jean while still in Middle school. Determined to master his craft and to test his market, Blaze daily entertained his high school friends in the quad during lunch and accepted invitations to private parties. In addition, Blaze’s reputation as an athletic jock and rapper at Beverly Hills High School generated revenues and expanded until he reached the hot spots on Sunset Blvd; Club DJs requested his hit single “I’m to Old for You” which led Blaze to perform his first album at historical clubs like at the Key Club and Palm where his music was well received among the club scene. While still a sophomore in high school and enrolled in a business development course, Blaze formed Global Sound Music Group and produced and released his second album under his own record label, GSM. In addition to his love for music, Blaze also believes in making contributions to those less fortunate. He volunteers at homeless shelters and supports non profit organizations that benefit children.
Jay Blaze’s lean 6’0 stature has exposed him to opportunities to model clothing lines by reputable fashion designers and work in photo shots with renowned photographers, Johnell of Phat Efx. and Eddie Wolfe. Currently, Blaze is a finalist in the 102.7 Kiis FM and Taco Bell’s ‘Big Break’ Contest. As a participant he continues to appear live wearing designer apparel and mentioned in media as a trend setter. Voting results affirms that Jay Blaze targets and reaches a nationwide audience via the Internet; his video available at Myspace and at Global Sound http://Music.com has captured the attention of over 100,000 viewers.
Jay Blaze’s music and captivating sexy appearance has caught the attention of well known music and film producers. From investment and continued success in music and his niche for understanding the art of doing business Blaze had the rare experience to reap the rewards from lucrative investments in the stock market enabling him to simultaneously manage his record label, produce hit singles, and consider requests for television and film appearances.
Jay Blaze is scheduled for a nationwide nine month promo tour and will embark upon an additional 24 months tour before the release of his third album.
