Predators in Action is an exciting company that specializes in studio trained exotic animals such as lions, tigers, leopards, cougars, wolves and grizzly bears for films, television, commercials, advertising, education, photo shoots and live shows. We have trained and supplied animals for some of the largest films/shows ever made. Randy Miller was the winner of the first World Stunt Academy Award for the tiger scene in Gladiator. This site has over two hours of video clips highlighting some of our award winning work and animal stunts with our highly trained lions, tigers and bears. We have built our business on delivering radical action and have mastered the technique of training and controlling exotic animals on any work project. Our animals can be nice and gentle or have the appearance of being out of control. We can set up an out of control look with safety and real control around the set while filming. We have learned how to do this safe and know this is the best way to get real action. We will coordinate all your exotic and domestic animal needs. If we don’t have it, we can get it. Our animal compound resides on hundreds of acres of lush pine forest, on the top of Big Bear Mountain, recognized as one of the most beautiful film locations in Southern California. PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU WOULD LIKE MORE INFO ON OUR PRIVATE TOURS. All of these animals are hand-reared with lots of love and gentle care. As they mature, we start training by way of positive reinforcement. (“Love and reward.”) We then work on bringing out their natural playful behaviors. Using this method of training, we are able to stage attacks and controlled wrestling with animals, such as lions, tigers, and bears without endangering the trainers or animals. As well as non-action trained behaviors that allows interaction between people and other animals. Many of our animals are trained to run, jump and climb through our obstacle course. This gives them the skills and conditioning required for any live action work. Randy Miller has raised and trained exotic animals for 25 years. The animals he trains are affectionate and extremely friendly to him and others. Therefore, it provides a safe and pleasant environment for trainers, actors, models or whoever comes into contact with them.
